Ernie Hudson Ernie Hudson (innate December 17, 1945) is an African-American actor. He was natural around Benton Harbor, Michigan. When the short stint in the Marine Corps, he moved to Detroit where he became a resident dramatist at Conception East, the oldest Black Theatre company in the united states. Additionally, he enrolled at Wayne State University to further prepare his writing & acting skills, & discovered period to establish a Actors' Emsemble Theatre in which he & more gifted immature black writers directed & appeared in their have works.

He played Winston Zeddemore, the firefighter who enlists with a Ghostbusters in the 1984 film Ghostbusters, when well as Warden Leo Glynn in HBO's Oz.

One of Mr. Hudson's early films was inside 'Penitentiary' in the late '70s starring Leon Issac Kennedy.
